What this site is
Fryer & Feast is an independent publisher of buying guides and instructional content about cooking equipment and holiday hosting. We do not sell products, hold stock, take orders, or handle returns, refunds or warranty claims. Purchases happen entirely between you and the retailer you are sent to, under their terms.
Safety disclaimer — read this one
Deep frying a turkey involves several gallons of oil at approximately 350F, usually over an open flame. It carries a real risk of serious burns, property damage and fire. The National Fire Protection Association discourages the use of oil turkey fryers entirely.
The information on this site is general guidance compiled from published sources. It is not a substitute for the manufacturer instructions supplied with your specific equipment, which always take precedence. Always follow those instructions, and follow local fire regulations.

Food safety
Cooking times, temperatures and thawing schedules on this site are drawn from published guidance and cited on the pages where they appear. They are general figures, and actual results vary with equipment, altitude, starting temperature and the bird itself.
Always verify doneness with a food thermometer rather than a clock. Poultry should reach an internal temperature of at least 165F.
Accuracy and availability
We take accuracy seriously and our editorial policy sets out how we handle corrections. Even so, product specifications change, manufacturers revise models, and availability moves. We make no warranty that everything on this site is complete or current at the moment you read it, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We publish no prices. Every price you see comes from the retailer at the moment you visit them, not from us.
