Affiliate Disclosure

Fryer & Feast, operated by Iron Mako Media, is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

In plain terms: if you click a link on this site and buy something, the retailer may pay us a small percentage of the sale. It costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is the same as it would be if you had gone to the retailer directly.

Any link labeled “Check price on Amazon” is an affiliate link, and so is any product name that links to a retailer. They are marked with #ad beneath the button, and a short disclosure appears above the first one on every page that has any.

Every one of them is tagged rel="sponsored nofollow", which is how we tell search engines the link is commercial. Links to our own pages, and links to primary sources like the National Turkey Federation or the USDA, are ordinary links and earn us nothing.

• It does not decide what we recommend. Commission rates vary between products and categories. That variation has never moved a product up or down a list. Where the cheaper option is the right one, the cheaper option wins.
• Nobody can buy their way onto a page. We accept no payment for placement, no sponsored reviews, and no free product.
• It does not affect your price. The commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your total.
• It does not make us a retailer. We do not sell anything, hold stock, or handle orders, returns or warranties.

Retail prices change daily. A page that quotes a number is either updating it constantly or quietly showing you something that is no longer true — and in this category the second is far more common.

So we do not quote prices anywhere on this site. Every buy button says “Check price on Amazon” and sends you to the retailer, where the number is by definition current. If that ever changes and we do begin showing live prices, they will carry a visible “as of” date and will disappear automatically rather than go stale.

Currently, Amazon. We link to Amazon because it is where the products we cover are actually stocked, and because a single tagged destination is simpler to disclose honestly than a scatter of programs.

Product links route through a redirect on our own domain (you will see /go/ in the URL) so that the affiliate tag lives in one place and can be audited. That redirect is excluded from search indexing and adds nothing to your journey beyond one hop.

Where a brand sells direct and the offer is genuinely better for you, we will say so and link there instead — even when it earns us less or nothing at all.

When you follow an affiliate link, the retailer sets a cookie so it can attribute a purchase back to us. We also use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and which links are clicked. Details are in our privacy policy.
